Vessel Survey

SSKE Management Team as well as the Supervisors are having enormous experience on all the latest versions of Classification Societies Reporting Formats and they provide professional training to our backend Technical Team who are the specialists to serve their proficiency services to our Clients as well as Classification Societies.

At the time of Survey, our Technical Team will carry rough drawings, original ship drawings, classification rules, pocket diminution chart, UT Machine and all the other required documents as well as tools to carryout various surveys. Initially they will mark all the defects on the rough drawings after that they will prepare final report in class formats.

Reporting Format to Used

  • TM-1, This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of deck plating, Bottom shell plating and side shell plating.

  • TM-2(a) & (b), This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of the transverse section shell plating and deck plating (one, two or three sections dependant upon the age of the ship)

  • TM-3, This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of the transverse section longitudinal structural members (one, two or three sections dependant on the age of the ship)

  • TM-4, This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of the transverse structural members in the water ballast tanks within cargo tank length.

  • TM-5 (a) & (b), This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of W.T. transverse bulkheads within the cargo hold length.

  • TM-6, This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of miscellaneous structural members.

  • TM-7 (a) & (b), This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of cargo hold / tank transverse frames where appropriate.

  • TM-8, This form will be used for reporting the thickness measurement of top side and bottom area assessment.

What We Will Do

  • Coating and plating condition of all the structures.

  • We will mark each and every damage like dents, groves, pitting areas, buckling areas etc.

  • Also we will report Out Fits damages – Accommodation ladders, cargo hold ladders, bulwarks, foundations, railings, Bollards, eye rings etc.

  • Digital photographic support to observe the condition of various structures and exact defects.

  • UT Readings of various structures to determine the stage of corrosion.

  • Also we will enclose all the structural drawings (Auto Cad) to find out the exact renewals or defects.

  • We will calculate the renewal steel tonnage for each and every section or structure.

  • Also we will submit Defect List to the Owners of the Vessel as well Classifications Societies.
